Unusually for us this item comes as a kit that needs to be assembled and glued together. Assembly is easy as there are only a few parts (pictures show a 15mm PLA model).
The Mi-8M /17 is designed to be mounted on one of our flight stands. The mounting hole goes deep within the fuselage so that a magnet is not required. Due to the deep mounting hole, the taller flight stand is recommended.
The main rotor may be glued to the main body of the helicopter via the spacer piece supplied or attached with a 5 mm diameter, 1 mm thick, rare earth magnet (magnet not supplied).
The armed version has 6 hard points for weapon mounts.
The helicopter is supplied with:
UB32 rocket pods
B8V20 rocket pods
In addition a collection of bombs are also available here that will fit the helicopter to further expand the possible weapon loads

Our models are designed to be printed.
The models are optimised for either PLA or resin printing. Where necessary a different model is provided for PLA and resin printing.
Resin models are designed to reduce the amount of resin required to print them. Vehicles are often hollowed out to reduce resin use.
The model is split into the minimum number of parts necessary. Tanks are usually only two parts, a hull and a turret. This makes the models stronger and easier and faster to print.
We provide models with and without support so you can print the models how you want.
Model features and support are adjusted for scale so that the models looks good, are robust and will print well at all scales from 1:285 to 1:48 scale.
